INGREDIENTS, EXPLAINED
WHAT’S INSIDE WETT AND WHAT EACH PART DOES
Wett is built for people who actually sweat. So instead of a long INCI list, we explain the formula as a simple system: odour control, moisture feel, skin comfort, scent, and stability.
Note: this page is “plain language”. The legal INCI list still appears on pack / product listing.
DEODORANT, NOT ANTIPERSPIRANT
Sweat is how your body cools. We’re not trying to shut that down. The real problem most people want solved is odour — plus the uncomfortable “damp layer” feeling, and irritation from products that are too harsh to use every day.
Wett is designed to work with sweat: neutralise smell, improve how underarms feel, and keep the skin barrier calm — even if you train often, commute, or live in your kit.
If an ingredient doesn’t improve performance, comfort, or stability, it doesn’t make the cut. No unnecessary fillers. No “detox” gimmicks. Just function.
Texture you actually want to use
A balm that spreads fast, absorbs cleanly, and doesn’t feel like chalky paste.
Cold Orange scent profile
Bright citrus with a cold, clean edge — fresh after training, not perfumey.
THE FORMULA SYSTEM
Think of Wett as five functional groups working together. Below are the roles — and a few examples of what sits inside each group. (This is not the full INCI list.)
Performance
Odour neutralisers
Odour isn’t “sweat” — it’s what happens when skin bacteria break down sweat and create volatile compounds your nose can detect. This pillar targets the chemistry of smell, so you stay fresh through training days, long shifts, and stress sweat.
- Sodium bicarbonate — helps neutralise odour-causing acids.
- Zinc oxide — supports freshness and comfort, helping keep the underarm calm.
Built to work without aluminium salts (we’re not trying to block sweat glands).
Feel
Moisture management
Some natural deodorants “work” but feel wet or sticky — especially once you start moving. This pillar is about the surface feel: helping reduce that “damp layer” sensation without trying to stop your body sweating.
- Arrowroot powder — light absorbency and a soft, clean finish.
- Diatomaceous earth — helps manage moisture feel and improves slip.
- Rice starch — adds smoothness and helps reduce tack.
Texture
Base oils & butters
This is the part you feel when you apply. The base decides whether a deodorant glides, drags, pills, stains, or disappears in heat. We build a balm that spreads quickly and settles into a light, flexible layer designed for movement.
- Shea butter — cushions and supports the skin barrier.
- Sunflower oil + apricot kernel oil — conditioning and skin-friendly feel.
- Caprylic/Capric triglyceride — lightweight spread with a less greasy finish.
Stability
Structure & hold
A high-performance balm has to stay consistent in the pot, in your gym bag, and across the whole shelf-life. This pillar helps prevent separation, graininess, and texture changes — so what you buy in month one feels the same in month six.
- Glyceryl behenate — structure and firmness.
- Glyceryl stearate — smoothness and stability.
- Tocopherol (Vitamin E) — helps protect oils from oxidation.
Ritual
Scent system
Our scent philosophy is simple: fresh, focused, not fake. Cold Orange is designed to feel like cold air and clean skin after training — not a heavy perfume cloud.
- Orange, lemon, bergamot — bright citrus lift.
- Eucalyptus + juniper — clean, cool edge.
- Calendula extract — added for a more comfortable skin feel.
Essential oils naturally contain components like limonene / linalool / citral. If you’re fragrance-sensitive, patch test first.

How to apply (so it performs and doesn’t mark clothing)
Most issues people have with natural deodorant come down to using too much. Wett is concentrated — you want a thin, even layer that can settle, not a thick paste sitting on top of the skin.
Use a pea-sized amount per underarm. Warm it between fingers for a second, spread thinly, then give it 30–60 seconds before dressing — especially with dark kit.
If you’re switching from antiperspirant, your body may need a short adjustment period while your sweat chemistry normalises.

What we don’t use (and why)
We’re not into fear-based marketing — but we are deliberate about the choices we make. These are the lines we don’t cross because they don’t fit what Wett is built to do.
- No aluminium salts — we don’t aim to block sweat glands.
- No “detox” gimmicks — if it doesn’t improve performance or comfort, it’s out.
- No confusing mystery story — we explain function in plain language.
